Honor Society officers plus a member, who researched their group project, from McFadden School visited the Child Advocacy Center in Murfreesboro to present them a donation.
The 39 members raised $700 selling pizza, drinks and homemade desserts during a family night at school in December.
The students advertised the event, which is called Showcase, a week in advance of the event through flyers and posters they created. They set up stations around the school that evening to sell the desserts and the pizza along with drinks were sold in our school’s cafeteria.
The Child Advocacy Center graciously took these representatives from our Honor Society on a tour of their facility, discussed why this center is so needed and entertained a Q & A session with students.
