Walter Hill students hope to attract lots of community interest in a luncheon they are hosting Jan. 18.
Fifth-graders from Walter Hill Elementary School will be organizing, managing and working the business luncheon at The Grove at Williamson Place.

As part of the luncheon, students will be polishing their interpersonal and business soft skills they’ve been learning in anticipation of this year’s Amazing Shake competition.
The goal of Walter Hill’s Amazing Shake program is to prepare their students to be workforce ready and gain valuable employability skills — often referred to as “soft skills” — for the future.
The luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
All profits from the luncheon go directly to the Amazing Shake program and its curriculum.
