
Stewarts Creek High on track for August opening Final stages underway with open house set for Aug. 4 After years of planning and months of active construction, Stewarts Creek High School is on schedule to become the 46th Rutherford County School when it opens in August. The school's administration and faculty will be moving into the school in phases throughout the summer while construction crews complete the final stages. An open house for the community, parents and students is scheduled for August 4. "Everyone's been really good with what we have to deal with and keeping an upbeat attitude, adapting and overcoming — traits we look for when hiring," Principal Dr. Clark Harrell said. Once the school is complete, it will consist of 358,000 square feet. That will make it the largest Rutherford County school, approximately 54,000 square feet bigger than Siegel High School.
