For Parents: Response to Instruction
and Intervention (RTI2) explained

Rutherford County Schools

As a Rutherford County parent, you may have heard about a relatively new program the school district and the state of Tennessee are rolling out. The program is known as Response to Instruction and Intervention (RTI2)

So what is RTI2?

RTI2 is a multi-tiered instruction and intervention delivery system that uses a data-driven, problem-solving model to identify specific student needs and then matches appropriate instructional strategies.

Rutherford County Schools has implemented RTI2 in grades K-8 for the 2014-2015 school year and high schools will follow soon.

Parents who would like more information should watch this short overview video and visit the RTI2 resource page HERE.
