The Rutherford County School Psychologists kicked off the new school year by collecting clothing and nonperishable food items for the RCS Clothes Closet organized by the RCS School Social Workers.
These donations will help ensure students and families have access to essential items throughout the school year.
This project was organized by School Psychologist, Rachael Wrye, in partnership with School Social Worker Tracey Wise. Mrs. Wrye stated, "We are proud to support our students both inside and outside the classroom and understand that helping meet basic needs will lead to a greater likelihood of academic success."
