Siegel High School hosted the first Rutherford County Media Day of the 2026-2027 school year, spotlighting football and girls soccer teams throughout Rutherford County Schools.

Athletes and coaches shared their expectations, team outlooks and thoughts on key rivalries, with WGNS Radio and Big G TV’s Bryan Barrett emceeing the broadcasts.

The event was coordinated by the RCS Athletics Department, with crews from Stewarts Creek High’s Audio Visual program producing video coverage and Siegel High’s Sports Media team helping manage the event. The Daily News Journal and The Murfreesboro Post conducted additional interviews with players and coaches behind the scenes.
