New program recognizes student-athletes in, out of the classroom
Rutherford County Schools is excited to introduce its new Student-Athlete of the Month program for RCS middle schools. This initiative is designed to recognize student-athletes who exemplify excellence not only in athletics, but also in the classroom and through their character and leadership. Each month, schools will have the opportunity to nominate a student-athlete who serves as a positive representative of their team, school, and Rutherford County Schools.
Selected student-athletes will be featured on the Rutherford County Schools Athletics webpage under their middle school sport, providing an opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments with our community.
We look forward to highlighting the outstanding accomplishments of our student-athletes throughout the school year. Thank you for helping us celebrate the students who make a positive impact both on and off the field.
