Great news for families looking to help their students explore future career paths: Rutherford Works is hosting two "Inside the Industry" events this fall, giving students a firsthand look at careers in construction and manufacturing.

Both events are free and open to all students, parents and families across Rutherford County. Attendees will get the chance to talk with local companies about training pathways, career opportunities, and what it takes to succeed in these fields.

Thursday, Oct. 15 — Inside the Industry: Construction Spotlight takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the MTSU School of Concrete and Construction Management, 1727 Blue Raider Drive in Murfreesboro.

Tuesday, Oct. 27 — Inside the Industry: Manufacturing Spotlight is scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 PM TCAT Murfreesboro - Smyrna Campus, 663 Ken Pilkerton Drive in Smyrna. Facility tours and the Fried Tater food truck will also be available during this session.

Each event will include a panel discussion with industry professionals, a Q&A session, and the opportunity to explore one of Rutherford County Schools’ Mobile Learning Lab.

We'd love to see you there.
