Today is Student Council Election Day! Watch the candidates' campaign videos on the Student Council website and cast your vote by using the link sent to your school email. Voting closes today at 3:00 PM.

Attention all students! We will continue club meetings on Wednesday August 25th with B rotation and Monday August 31st with C rotation. Recall that you must provide each sponsor with parent permission before you can participate. Also remember your deadline for creating new clubs is rapidly approaching. Any new clubs must be formed by this Friday August 28th. See Mr. Nichols if you have any questions.

Rho Kappa's first meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 26th in the Senior Cafeteria. Please be sure you have a Club Permission Form signed by a parent so that you can attend this important meeting.

Are you interested in business, finance, marketing, or hospitality and tourism? Then DECA is the organization for you! Stop by Room 347 to pick up membership information. We meet during Rotation D in the senior cafeteria. The deadline to join and claim your competitive event is September 18, 2026.

The Creative Writing Club will meet on Tuesday, August 25th in room 102 from 3:15 - 4:00pm. All students must have their Club Authorization Form to attend. Be sure to have your ride ready by 4PM.

Attention current 7th and 8th grade Jr. Beta Members. There will be a State Convention interest meeting on Thursday, August 27th during RTI in the auditorium. If you are interest in attending State Convention in November, you must be at this meeting. And remember to bring your club form 🙂

Chess Team members can pay their fees at the front office. Please bring checks and money to the front office.

DECA is hosting a Middle School Dance on Friday, August 28, 2026.

6:00-8:00 p.m. in the CMS Cafeteria

$10 tickets sold at the door

Concessions will be sold as well! DJ Corban will be back with us! 

HS Cheer will have a fall tryout on September 2nd for any new to Central students. If you would like more information on trying out for HS cheer, and you are new to Central, please go to room 108 and see Coach Griggs.

While the Middle School girls volleyball team came up short against Poplar Hill, Nora Casteel led the varsity team in service points with 13 points and Lydia Nundahl led the JV team with 16 service points with 9 aces!

The middle school girls soccer team brought their season to a 6-0 record! The final score was 10-1 with several girls adding to the scoreboard! Come cheer on your lady tigers at Whitworth-Buchanan tomorrow night!

First HS Volleyball home district game versus Springhill JV at 5:30 with varsity to follow.
