Central Magnet School has recently reached Platinum rank through the 2023 AP School Honor Roll.
The criteria for Platinum recognition are as follows:
- 80 percent of class of 2023 to experience one AP course before graduating
- 50 percent of class of 2023 to earn college credit by earning an AP Exam score of 3
- 15 percent of class of 2023 to take a total of five AP courses across their high school years, with at least one taken in ninth or 10th grade
Central Magnet excelled in all three areas of the criteria set by the AP School Honor Roll.
The entire class of 2023 experienced an AP class before graduating, and all earned a college credit by being given an AP Exam score of 3.
In addition, 95 percent of the class of 2023 took a total of five AP courses across their high school years, with at least one taken in their freshman or sophomore year.
