Payroll changes in November and December because of holidays

As usual, there are a few changes to payroll dates in November and December because of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.

In November, teachers normally paid on the 20th of the month will be paid Nov. 18. Administrators normally paid on the 26th will be paid Nov. 22.

In December, all teachers and administrators will be paid Dec. 16. The only day that will be off schedule for classified employees will be Dec. 29 instead of Dec. 30.

Payroll will resume the normal schedule in January.

PLEASE READ: Deadline to verify new dependents is Dec. 1

If you added a dependent (eligible spouse or child) to your insurance for 2017, who was not enrolled in 2016, please read the following:

As stated in the Annual Enrollment guide, the deadline to provide eligibility documentation for dependent(s) added to benefits during Annual Enrollment is Dec. 1, 2016.

This is required ONLY for dependents who are not currently covered on a medical, dental and/or vision plan in 2016, but added to a medical, dental, and/or vision plan for 2017.

Attached is a list of acceptable documents for verification. The eligibility documentation should be sent to the Risk Management Department, attention Erica Holland. Erica’s contact information is [email protected] or fax number is 615-867-4602. Please ensure that any financial information or social security numbers are removed from any documents sent via electronic means.

Please remember, failure to provide required eligibility documentation by Dec. 1, 2016will result in denial of benefits for new dependents enrolled during Annual Enrollment, as described above.
