Camp Bridgestone will be held on Friday, Oct. 7. As of today, only seven slots out of 24 have been filled and they are asking for our help to spread the word to interested students.

Participation for the camp has been expanded to include both juniors and seniors in Rutherford County high schools. If you know of a student who is interested in attending, follow this link

For Camp Bridgestone, the company is inviting students to spend one day at the facility in La Vergne to learn more about plant operations, manufacturing processes and the Japanese methodology for continuous improvement. A full schedule and registration details are available at the link.

BEP issues correction for mini-grant application deadline

The Business Education Partnership has notified us of a correction involving the printed deadline for the fall 2016 minigrant deadlines. We have been told the following:

"It has come to our attention that we had an incorrect deadline date listed within the application process. The deadline for the Fall 2016 BEP Nissan Teacher Minigrant is Oct. 13 at 4:30 p.m. Though this was the date given in our previous communications, we want to clear up any confusion the incorrect date on the application may have caused. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we look forward to reviewing everyone's grant submissions."
