Barfield Elementary began a new tradition last week called "Middle School Signing Day".
Principals and assistant principals from Christiana, Rockvale and Central Middle School sat down with upcoming sixth grade students for special one-on-one meetings.
Administrators talked with students about their goals and answered questions, while students commented they didn't feel as nervous about next year after meeting with their new principals.
Each student was provided with a middle school shirt which they wore during Barfield's legacy walk and on Signing Day.
