Nevaeh Morris and Leslie Mendoza-Ortiz have been invited to participate on one of the four teams representing Tennessee at the YMCA National Judicial Competition.

The sophomores from Smyrna High School will travel to Chicago for the NJC event, which takes place July 29 through August 1 at John Marshall Law School, Chicago Bar and Federal Courthouse.

NJC is a mix of challenging trial and appellate competition and opportunities to meet participants from across the country, who share a passion for youth, government and the judicial system.
