Rutherford County Schools will host an in-person Career Fair on Saturday, Feb. 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Stewarts Creek High School. This event provides an opportunity for job candidates to explore and discover exciting teaching opportunities within the Rutherford County Schools for the 2023-2024 school year.

With a wide range of positions available across all levels of education, including PreK-12, the Career Fair is an ideal opportunity for prospective teachers and educational professionals to meet with principals, learn more about individual schools and the district, and find the perfect career fit. From English and History, to Math, CTE, ESL, JROTC, Special Education, Counseling, World Language, and Science, there is a wide range of subject areas represented.

Not only are there a variety of teaching positions available, but the district is also seeking qualified individuals for substitute teaching positions and a variety of support roles. The district offers competitive pay rates for these positions and has several offering signing bonuses for hard-to-fill positions, providing an added incentive for individuals to join the team.

At the Career Fair, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from the district, ask questions, and learn more about the benefits and opportunities available to them as employees of Rutherford County Schools. In many cases, preliminary contracts will be available to sign on-site.

For more information about the RCS Career Fair, and to learn more about the district and its commitment to providing the highest quality of education to its students, please visit the Rutherford County Schools website at www.rcschools.net.
