Bands from Rutherford County Schools recently participated in the Middle Tennessee Band and Orchestra Association's Concert Performance Assessment (CPA).
Performances at CPA serve as summative assessments for musical ensembles. Each group performs for a panel of judges and is evaluated on prepared music performance as well as the ability to read and perform never-before-seen music.
Ensembles are rated on a scale of 1-5, with 1 being a Superior rating - the highest rating possible. The performances took place at Middle Tennessee State University.
