Rutherford County Schools
The Tennessee Mathematics Teachers Association High School Math contest was held yesterday.
RCS participated in Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus, Calculus, and Statistics divisions.
Each student took an 80-minute math test during the morning and awards were presented this afternoon.
RCS had 37 students place in the top 10 of their division, including four first-place winners. RCS dominated the statistics competition, taking all top 10 places. Students who placed in the top 10 are listed below by course.
In the pictures, students are standing in order of their place (i.e., first place is on the left).
The middle school competition will be held next week.
