Nine Rutherford County Schools students graduated the Project Search program in May.

Project Search is a nationally acclaimed model for transitioning students with intellectual and developmental disabilities from high school into employment through internships at community businesses.

In Rutherford County, the school district partners with Embassy Suites to provide internships and training for the students, and the program has a long history of success and celebration.

The graduates are Logan Bugg (Oakland High), Angela Carruthers (LaVergne High), Jakobe Kinney (Smyrna High), Logan LaForce (Siegel High), Josh Rivero (Riverdale High), Brayden Reed (Siegel High), Anna Tyler (Smyrna High), Jacquelyn Villalobos (Smyrna High), Jayden Whitlock (Siegel High).
