Learn about conservatorship, alternative options at upcoming meeting meeting

September 19, 2025

Just because an individual has an intellectual and/or developmental disability and is reaching or has reached the age of majority (18), this doesn’t automatically mean the individual must have a conservator appointed by the court.

Individuals have varying degrees of capacity, so come learn about options that are available to assist, as needed, with decision-making, including financial management.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21 at Stewarts Creek High School, 301 Red Hawk Parkway, Smyrna.
