Nearly 600 Structured Setting students recently participated in the annual School Resource Officer Fun Fair at Lane Agri-Park. Coordinated by the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office SRO unit, the event gave students from 32 schools a chance to take part in games, face painting, a petting zoo and a magic show.
A huge thanks goes out to all the volunteers, sponsors and vendors who made the day possible: Redstone Financial Credit Union, La Vergne Police Department, Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, The Home Depot of Murfreesboro, Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services, Chik-fil-A Murfreesboro, Bethel Community Church, Rutherford County Sheriff's Citizens Academy Alumni Association, Rutherford County Fire Rescue, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Rutherford County Sheriff's Office Community Services Unit, Party Animals Petting Zoo, Jumping Hearts Party Rentals, magician Chris Vaughter and Lane Agri-Park.
