Siegel High boys bowling captures team, individual titles

For the first time in school history, Siegel High School’s boys bowling team captured the district, region and TSSAA Division I state titles en route to a 25-0 season.

Additionally, senior Westyn Griffin won the 2026 individual boys Division I championship.

Coached by Sapnesh Naran, Misty Naran and Justin Yirkovsky, this season’s win marked the first state championship for the Stars. During the State Championship, the Siegel bowling team set a new record for highest American 10 Pin state tournament Average with 1222.

The team finished as district runner-up in 2025.

-Finished 11th in the Individual State Championship

-Finished fourth place in the Individual State Championship

Nathan Gibson: Average: 215.7, High Game: 268

Westyn Griffin: Average: 215.48, High Game: Perfect 300-Game on 10/14/2025

During the third match of the season against Nolensville on 10/14/2025, the Siegel bowling team set several state records: 6-Person High Game (1514); 6-Person High 2-Games (2903); 6-Person High 2-Games + 2-Baker Games (3391); Baker High 2-Games (488)

On Dec. 15, 2025, the Stars tied a state recordset by Stewarts Creek in the earlier in the season with a Baker High Game of 279.
