The composite graduation rate for Rutherford County high schools now tops 95%, according to a new report released today by the Tennessee Department of Education.
The report shows the district's graduation rate is now 95.2%, which is up from 93.9% the previous year.
"We’re pleased our schools, teachers, students and parents are focusing on completing high school because a diploma is a valuable asset and vital for future success," Rutherford County Director of Schools Don Odom said. "The graduation rate is an important indicator of the quality of our schools and the community should be proud."
All Rutherford County high schools have a graduation rate of at least 91%, according to the report. The following chart shows the most recent graduation rate of each Rutherford County high school.
