The varsity basketball cheer squad at Blackman High School won first place at the TSSAA Championship on Nov. 11.
The coed team from Blackman beat out 12 other cheer squads.
In addition to the state title, Blackman won a bid to the Nationals, which will be held in Orlando, Florida.
