For the second year in a row, MTSU welcomed the 2018 Class of the True Blue 100, which recognizes the top rising high school freshmen from throughout the state.
Freshmen from Rutherford County Schools dominated this year’s list.
Students were nominated by a teacher or school counselor based on their character and academic rankings. President Sidney McPhee spoke to the class and encouraged them to consider attending MTSU once they graduate from high school.
“I hope they will all become #TRUEBLUE,” McPhee Tweeted, following the admissions event, which was held in the Science Building.
