RCS is closing today, Jan. 30, 2019, because of unexpected heavier snow that has hit in LaVergne and Smyrna.
We understand the timing is not great but we have instructed buses to take students back home.
Those students who are already at school will remain until either the buses can pick them back up or parents pick them up. Our school staff will supervise all students until they have all been safely returned home or to parents.
We appreciate your patience as we work through this situation.
