As such, the school will remain closed Thursday, March 23, but we intend for the school to reopen on Friday, March 24.
Blackman High School precautionary evacuation canceled Blackman High School was temporarily evacuated this morning as a precaution while a possible gas leak was investigated by the fire department. The evacuation has been canceled now and students headed back inside. The fire department has cleared the building after a faulty valve in science lab was repaired.All students are safe.
