Rocky Fork Elementary moving to distance-learning through Nov. 17

The school is experiencing an increased number of students and staff members who are on quarantine. So the school is closing for a few days to allow time for some of them to complete their quarantine period.

Blackman High distance-learning extended until Monday, Nov. 16

In-person students will return on Monday, Nov. 16, unless they too are on quarantine. Distance-learning for all students will continue this week through Friday.

Virtual Pep Rally

Stewarts Creek Middle produces virtual pep rally to include students in-person and distance-learning

Combined 30 hours of work by everyone involved went into the 30-minute virtual rally that included musical segments and recognition of athletic teams

Blackman High School moving to distance learning through Nov. 11

Beginning Friday, Nov. 6, all students at the school will move to distance learning for a few days. All students will distance-learn Friday through Wednesday, Nov. 11. In-person learners will return to school next Thursday, Nov. 12.

Rutherford County Virtual School accepting applications for new students for second semester

Not to be confused with the distance-learning program available at all schools — the Rutherford County Virtual School launched in August as a full-time, standalone school serving grades 6-12. Applications are being accepted now through Tuesday, Nov. 24.

Rockvale High and Stewarts Creek High reopening dates announced

Rockvale High School will reopen for in-person learners on Wednesday, Nov. 4, and Stewarts Creek High School will reopen for in-person learners on Friday, Nov. 6.

Meal pickup available for Rockvale High, Stewarts Creek High students

All students 18 and under are eligible to pickup free meals at any school location, especially during the quarantine shutdown
