Change in procedures follows new guidance from the Tennessee Department of Health

RCS hosting multiple workshops to help those families and students navigate distance-learning programs

The first day of school has been changed to Aug. 13 to give teachers and schools more time to finalize details and prepare for students. RCS has more than 19,000 students signed up for distance learning, which nearly 40% of our students

Students representing four schools — Siegel middle and high schools, Eagleville, Central and Stewarts Creek High — place in Top 10 of seven categories at national level

Assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction, Dr. Jimmy Sullivan, and his staff will be posting videos to help parents better understand all aspects of the reopening plan. Videos, which are hosted on the district’s YouTube page, will be updated regularly.
