Magic School for Educators and Magic School for Students Combined Certification Course

This session brings together the best of both worlds--AI tools for educators and AI literacy for students. In this interactive training, you'll gain a foundational understanding of modern AI systems, including their capabilities, limitations, and strategies for crafting effective prompts. Discover how MagicSchool AI can streamline your workflow by generating lesson plans, rubrics, vocabulary lists, and more.

You will also explore MagicSchool for Students, a student-facing platform designed to build AI literacy. Learn best practices for integrating AI into student learning, navigate the platform, customize and assign tools, manage content moderation, and monitor student activity.

Once this session is completed, teachers will be able to use MagicSchool Student with their students.

Class Companion: AI Writing Feedback Certification Course

This session guides teachers through Class Companion’s powerful AI features—from creating an account through Clever to building assignments and reviewing AI‑generated feedback. Participants will explore how the platform supports personalized learning, reduces grading load, and strengthens student revision routines. A built‑in self‑paced Schoology module allows teachers to learn at their own speed while practicing with real tools. By the end, attendees will feel confident and classroom‑ready. This session is a requirement before using Class Companion with students.
 
Once this session is completed, teachers will be able to use Class Companion with their students.

Approved Programs for Student Use with Teacher Supervision

Per the RCS Use of Artificial Intelligence policy, only 3 programs have been approved at this point for student use of AI. If teachers would like to use AI with students, they must first complete the self-paced training on the program below, and then they must complete the Teacher Agreement form and train their students on the use of the program.
