Rutherford County Schools is proud to announce that Meagan Turnbow, RCS ESL Coordinator, has been named a regional finalist for the 2025-26 Tennessee Supervisor of the Year award. In this honor, she represents the entire Mid-Cumberland region.
This recognition is a testament to Mrs. Turnbow’s exemplary leadership, commitment to English Learners, and her dedication to equity in education. Over her career, she has served in multiple instructional and administrative roles—including ESL teacher across grade levels, instructional coach, reading interventionist, and assistant principal—before assuming the coordinator role in RCS.
Within our district, she has already been honored as Supervisor of the Year for 2024-2025, a reflection of the respect and confidence her colleagues place in her vision and stewardship.
We congratulate Mrs. Turnbow on this well-deserved distinction and wish her the best as she advances in the state selection process.
