NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The agriculture education program at Stewarts Creek High School was selected the Middle Tennessee Association of Agricultural Educators Outstanding Program Award recipient.
The school was selected during the 2018 TAAE annual conference in Murfreesboro on July 11-13.
Stewarts Creek will compete in the spring of 2019 to be named the state winner.
The advisors of the program are Amy Olt, Gina Stewart, and Phillip Morgan.
A goal of NAAE is to promote outstanding programs in agricultural education and effectively communicate success stories. The Outstanding Middle/Secondary School Ag Ed Program Award promulgates that goal.
Agricultural education programs in middle schools and secondary schools are eligible to participate in this recognition program.
NAAE is the professional organization in the United States for agricultural educators. It provides its’ more than 8,000 members with professional networking and development opportunities, professional liability coverage, and extensive awards and recognition programs.
