The graduation dates were adopted by the Rutherford County Board of Education on Jan. 21, 2021. Additional details about the ceremonies will be announced as we continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic in Rutherford County.
Rutherford County Schools will begin accepting zone exemption applications Feb. 1 for the the 2021-2022 school. The deadline to apply is April 15, 2021. Any parent who feels they have a significant hardship may apply, and the decision depends greatly on whether the requested school has available space.
We had 5,600 K-8 students register during the priority registration window - March 8-26, 2021. Now registration will be available for ALL students from April 5-23, 2021.

Free statewide initiative launches this week for pre-k through third grade parents
The school will re-open to in-person learners on Friday, Jan. 22
Parents can pick up a week’s worth of meals — including breakfast and lunch. Free program applies to in-person students, distance-learners and any child 18 and under living Rutherford County. There are no income requirements, program funded by U.S. Department of Agriculture.
