Excellence Awards

The Rutherford County Schools Career and Technical Education (CTE) Excellence Awards recognize educators, programs, and partners who demonstrate outstanding contributions to CTE across our district. Modeled after the Association for Career and Technical Education Excellence Awards, these honors celebrate individuals and organizations that exemplify high-quality instruction, innovation, and a strong commitment to student success.

Our award recipients represent the very best of CTE in Rutherford County, leaders who inspire students, elevate programs, and expand opportunities that prepare students for college, career, and life. Through their dedication, they reflect the core values of service, excellence, and continuous improvement in Career and Technical Education.

Rutherford County Schools will recognize award applicants and recipients each August. We also strongly encourage all candidates to extend their impact by applying for state and national recognition through TACTE and ACTE awards programs.

Deadline for submission is June 1st.
