'Clutter' email feature will discontinue beginning Friday

We have heard concerns from employees regarding important emails being filtered to the “clutter” folder in their email account and being missed.  To help eliminate these issues we will be turning the “clutter" feature off for all employees on Friday, Nov. 8

If you do not wish to have your clutter option turned off, the video below will show you how to navigate to your settings options to turn it back on after the switch has been made at the district level.

Schools invited to enter local Earth Day contest

The 2017 Murfreesboro Earth Day Celebration will be held on April 22. The local Earth Day committee is inviting elementary students from both city and county schools to participate in an Earth Day themed contest leading up to the event. Riverdale’s Chelsea Spaulding Culbreth selected for prestigious Governor’s leadership program

Riverdale Assistant Principal Chelsea Spaulding Culbreth will soon get a career opportunity that many won’t in Tennessee.

Culbreath has been selected as a fellow for the 2017 cohort of the Governor’s Academy for School Leadership, Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam’s office announced.

GASL is a statewide program designed specifically for Tennessee’s aspiring school principals and has been tailored to prepare high-caliber assistant principals to become transformational leaders in Tennessee schools, according to the governor’s office. CONTINUE READING

 


TSSAA honors RCS Athletic Director Tim Tackett, Blackman High School for ethics, integrity

Rutherford County Schools Athletic Director Tim Tackett and Blackman High School athletics were honored by the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association at last week’s annual A.F. Bridges Awards.

Tackett was named the School System Administrator of the Year for District 4, while Blackman was named one of three Class AAA finalists for Middle Tennessee. CONTINUE READING
