Charter Schools - Approved Applications

Springs Empower Academy

Since the application to open Springs Empower Academy was approved by Rutherford County Schools, they have been working diligently to find a high-quality location for their program. The team at Springs Empower Academy is still finalizing the details of purchasing land and therefore have chosen to delay enrollment for one year.

While waiting until the fall of 2024 is not what they had hoped for, their team believes that building a brand-new school in Smyrna will give them the needed time to continue connecting with families looking for a public charter option, hire an excellent team of teachers and administrators, and ultimately establish their long-term home for Springs Empower Academy.

They will continue to share updates, including information on their location, renderings of the new facilities, and how parents can submit an enrollment interest form in the coming weeks.
