Hello there, I'm Scott Bolden the principal of Rocky Fork Elementary and we just finished a tour this morning of our new school here behind us.

I think some the things you're going to enjoy about it, is obviously there are no portables and so our kids are for the first time, in seven years that I've been at the previous school, will actually be inside.

Our teachers will also be inside, which is a first. We have one of teachers who has never worked inside a building in 13 years and so she has an opportunity to teach inside a classroom. Our art teacher has a fabulous layout with a display, kind of like an art showcase, when you walk in her classroom there.

Every classroom is fitted with a Promethean board which allows our teachers and kids to touch an interactive board so anything they want to interact with, they are able to do that either with their fingers or a stylus. That kind of brings it to life. One of the exciting things I saw yesterday is you can bring up the White House, you can get a 3-D topography model of that and actually do a live tour of that. So we'll have that going on in our school.

The other thing exciting thing too is just all of us being inside the same building, we have a state-of-the-art cafeteria, we have a gymnasium with real basketball goals. We have a stage we haven't ever had before, so a first for us.

I think those are just some of the great things that are going to make us a great elementary school.
