Non-Faculty Staff
Rutherford County Schools recognizes that private and small-group instruction play a major role in the success of students in the performing arts. As such, the RCS Board of Education allows such instruction to take place, provided certain guidelines are met.
All individuals who will be working with RCS students and who are not RCS faculty will be considered Non-Faculty Staff (NFS). This includes (but is not limited to) private lessons teachers, band camp staff, choreographers, etc. All NFS must be must be fingerprinted, background checked and approved by the RCS Board of Education before beginning work with students.
